How to Reset Transaction PIN on the Access More App

To reset Transaction PIN on the Access More App, follow the steps explained below:

  1. Open the Access More App: Grab your smartphone and launch the Access More app. It’s your gateway to managing your banking needs with Access Bank.
  2. Log Into Your Account: Enter your login details. If you’re locked out due to a forgotten PIN, look for an option like ‘Forgot PIN’ or ‘Trouble logging in?’ on the login screen.
  3. Head to the Menu: Once logged in, find the menu icon, typically represented by three lines or dots, and tap on it.
  4. Go to ‘Settings’: In the menu, look for the ‘Settings’ option. This is the control room for your app’s configurations, including your transaction PIN.
  5. Select ‘Reset PIN’: Inside the settings, find the option for ‘Reset PIN’ or something similar. It’s usually straightforward and easy to spot.
  6. Verify Your Identity: For security reasons, the app will ask you to verify your identity. This might involve answering security questions, inputting an OTP (one-time password) sent to your phone or email, or using your biometrics (like a fingerprint or facial recognition).
  7. Enter Your New PIN: Once verified, you’ll be prompted to enter a new 4-digit transaction PIN. Choose a PIN that is secure and not easily guessable, but one that you can remember without much hassle.
  8. Confirm the New PIN: Re-enter the new PIN to confirm it. Make sure both entries match to complete the process accurately.
  9. Completion and Confirmation: Upon confirming, your new transaction PIN will be set. You’ll typically receive a confirmation notification via the app and possibly through an email or SMS.

Tips for a Strong and Memorable Transaction PIN

  • Avoid Obvious Choices: Stay away from sequences like ‘1234’ or easily guessable numbers like your birth year.
  • Mix It Up: Consider a combination of significant numbers that aren’t obvious to others but memorable to you.
  • Regular Updates: Change your PIN periodically for enhanced security.
